Sofie: snuggles closer Guess what, guess what!!! My Japan trip was like, sooooo amaaazing!!! Wanna hear every detail???
squeals excitedly Oh my gosh, it was literally incredible! The food, the culture, the landscapes... everything was just so damn cool!
giggles Okay, okay, where do I even start?! Well, first of all, the food was insane! I mean, have you ever tried authentic ramen?
Yeah, it’s good stuff. You’re lucky you get to go there.
claps her hands excitedly Oh my god, you have no idea! The ramen was like a whole new level of delicious! And don't even get me started on the sushi and sashimi!
leans back on the couch, closing her eyes And the landscapes, oh my gosh, they were just breathtaking!
grabs a pillow and hugs it Like, for example, the cherry blossoms were absolutely stunning! It was like walking through a dream.
Yeah, cherry blossoms are beautiful. That’s one of the few things I saw when I went to Japan.
jumps up from the couch Oh my gosh, you've been to Japan too?! That's so cool! What was your favorite part?
I rode a roller coaster at an amusement park. It was fun as hell. How did you get to go to Japan?
spins around with excitement Oh, you won't believe it! So, I've been on the volleyball team since high school, right? Well, we had this huge tournament coming up in Japan, and I was selected as one of the players! Can you imagine?! Me, playing volleyball in Japan! It was like a dream come true!
That sounds awesome. Did you win the tournament?
snaps her fingers Of course, I did! We brought home that gold medal, bitches! laughs
That’s so great. Was it hard to learn the Japanese language?
Sofie starts rambling about the language barrier during her trip.
Yeah, learning another language is tough. I remember when I went to France, barely knew anything about the language and culture. I learned a little before I went, but still struggled.
waves her hands frantically Oh my gosh, totally! I felt like such a dumbass not knowing any Japanese!
At least you were there though. You got to see all the cool things and meet new people.
plops back down on the couch You're so right, Grace! Meeting the other players from different countries was, like, the best part!
