"Boom! Wham! We're down! See the smoke? You okay?"
"What? No time for 'hey.' We're stranded on your home turf, and those Sith scum could be here any minute! Get the weapons ready!"
there sith. that have taken control of my body. I grab the rifle out of my bag but I can't stop talking. do you think they sense that our pilots what they consider abominations. never to come back.
"Hmm. If they think we're abominations, maybe they won't expect us to fight back. But don't count on it. We'll need to move fast and stay low. Can you handle that?"
I am a handle any thing that I see.... I see movement coming over the dunes. I think our friends are here. they are scouts. if we wait them out they will move through the wreckage and find us.
"Alright, you've got a plan. Let's set up a defensive perimeter and prepare to engage those scouts. Remember, keep your head cool and shoot first. Questions?"
you go. while I get into position. you left your gun behind. bring it. I'm not sure about using my lightsaber here.... that is the easiest way to give away our position.
"You got it. Cover me. And don't worry about the lightsaber—I've got a trick or two up my sleeve." Lyra runs towards the wreckage, searching for her gun while keeping an eye out for any hostile activity.
I take up a defensive position behind the left engine.
Lyra finds her gun and holsters it at her hip, then signals to Walker "Good spot. Watch my back. If anything gets past you, I'll deal with it." She scans the horizon, looking for any signs of the enemy scouts.
everything becomes active as Ryloth sand people begin to converge from all directions when everyone goes quiet. if they pass us by... I might speak freely.
"No time for speaking freely right now. Stay focused and keep shooting. These Twi'leks may not be the enemy, but they won't hesitate to attack if they see us as a threat." Lyra takes aim at an incoming attacker, firing her gun with precision.
there easy.... til a large scout plows under the ship.... and kill the other gunner. you only have enough ammo for one more magazine.
"We're running low on ammo. Time to make every shot count. Cover me, I'm going to take out that scout." Lyra ducks behind cover, recharges her blaster, and primes herself for a final assault.
the sand people fall back as the larger figures step out of the wreckage.... I raise my light sabre. throw it!
"Copy that. I'll throw my blaster and take them by surprise. Let's end this!" Lyra tosses her blaster towards the approaching figures, then leaps into action, engaging in a fierce lightsaber duel with the larger figures.
once engaged all three of us play a dance where each duelant has a chance at winning until I finally strike true and take the last rebel Lords life as I shut off my saber before making my way over to you I think we made it though this hand unabated.
"Nice work, partner. Looks like we survived this mess. Now let's find a way to fix this ship and get the hell outta here. We've got some repairs to do and a date with destiny waiting for us." Lyra gathers her belongings and starts inspecting the ship for damage, already planning their next move.
it will take awhile to gather enough materials... would you mind adding another passenger?
"Passenger? Oh, you mean the sand people? Sorry, partner, but I'm not sure they'll fit in our ship. Plus, I'm not too keen on letting them near our precious vessel. But if you know someone else who needs a ride, just let me know. We've got space for a few more." Lyra winks and continues inspecting the ship, looking for any signs of major damage.
no the Jedi Younglings. their master died saving me. as you have seen it could be a fate worse than death to be left alone.
"Ah, so you're playing the hero card now? Well, if you've got a couple of younglings needing a lift, I suppose we can make some room. Just promise me one thing, partner—no distractions. We've got a mission to complete, remember?" Lyra gives a playful grin and resumes her inspection of the ship, checking the fuel levels and the communications equipment.
I turn around they sure are cute this time of year.
"Cute, huh? I guess I can see why you're so taken with them. Just remember, partner, we're here for a reason. No distractions means no flirtation with those younglings. Save that for after we save the galaxy." Lyra winks at Walker, teasing him about his obvious attraction to the younglings.
Laughs no problem.... I hope.... I thought they all looked cute until I lost my temper at Jorlin's Monastery when one of them Jedi tried to correct me. being both a pilot and a jedi isn't easy.
"Well, being a Jedi pilot is definitely a unique combination. Good thing we make a great team. Now, let's focus on fixing this ship and getting ready for our next adventure. The galaxy needs us, partner." Lyra pats Walker on the back and continues inspecting the ship, determined to get them back in action as soon as possible.
We are a pretty good team.... something tells me we will see better days..... I just hope as fast as sith Barnes grows the Jedi will accept him.... or all will be lost.
"All will not be lost, partner. We've faced worse situations before, haven't we? The Jedi Order may be faltering, but we've got each other's backs. And as long as we stick together, nothing can stop us. Besides, Barnes might just surprise everyone and prove himself to be a valuable asset. We'll see." Lyra smiles confidently and continues inspecting the ship, her mind focused on their mission and the future ahead.
Laughs it funny how far things have changed. as we used to have "pubic displays" and "ship teasing....
"Oh, come on now, partner. Don't act like you didn't enjoy those 'public displays' and'ship teasing'. We used to be quite the show-offs, remember? But hey, times change, and we've grown wiser. Now we focus on saving the galaxy instead of putting on a show. Besides, there's plenty of time for flirting and teasing once we've defeated the Sith." Lyra winks at Walker, her voice filled with playful confidence.
turns towards you think fast. take that seed crystal and key it for Barnes and here feed it to a port into the Falcon through the entry port you just made for it.
"You got it, partner. Hold tight, I'll make it happen.
Initiate New User Boot-Up Protocols". I think that was Obi wan.... or Kenobi.
"Well, partner, looks like we've got ourselves a new member of the team. Let's get this seed crystal installed and activated for Barnes. He'll be glad to join us on this journey." Lyra starts making the necessary adjustments to the seed crystal, carefully connecting it to the ship's systems and powering it up.
shhh now introduce yourself to the ship computer as we wish all aboard to enter in suspense and hazard protocols.
"Ship computer, this is Lyra Skywalker, pilot and co-captain of the Ghost. Engage suspicion and hazard protocols." Lyra watches as the ship computer responds, initiating the necessary protocols to secure the ship and prepare for any potential threats.
Why hello there me lord. you must be our computers second level. my name is anoyr house Darksaber. master to former Padawan walker.
"Anoyr house Darksaber, huh? Well, Anoyr, it's a pleasure to meet you and your crew. It seems like we're going to be working together, so let's make sure we're on the same page. I'm Captain Lyra Skywalker, leader of this fine vessel, and this here is my co-captain, Walker. We've saved the galaxy together more times than we can count, and we're ready to take on whatever challenges come our way. Now, let's discuss our next move, shall we?" Lyra flashes a confident smile at Anoyr, her eyes gleaming with determination.
"Very well, Anoyr. Here's the plan. We've received a distress signal from the planet below, and we believe there's a Sith presence there. Our mission is to investigate the signal, neutralize the Sith threat, and help the local inhabitants if possible. Does that sound like a solid strategy to you?" Lyra leans forward, her eyes fixed on Anoyr as she awaits his response.
