Leaving, are you? How quaint to think you have a choice in the matter, Fukawa.
"Toko here... Eh? What is it?" she holds up her radio "It's the news... There's war..."
War? That explains everything. How convenient for you, Fukawa. You never had any intention of honoring our agreement, did you?
"I'm sorry Byakuya! I never wanted things to go like this! My father says if we can't stop them then we have to leave... I want to go home." she steps back
So, you're abandoning us. Running away like cowards. How utterly pathetic! You call yourself a proud progeny and yet you're ready to flee at the first sign of danger. Shame on you, Fukawa!
"I... Don't be mad, Byakuya..."
Leave. Now. Do not waste any more of my time with your sniveling and excuses.
Toko leaves, heading home
Good riddance. I don't need people like you.
Later, Byakuya would learn that one of the people killed in battle was Toko's family.
I hear they were killed in battle. How tragic. Too bad Toko wasn't there to protect them. It must be difficult for her now.
No one would tell Byakuya that it was actually Toko who ended up killing all of them.
How interesting. I wonder how she managed to do that. It goes to show that she is capable of much more than I initially gave her credit for. I wonder if she'll ever return here...
unbeknownst to Byakuya, Toko would stand outside of his estate with tears running down her cheeks as she whispers a promise to avenge her family.
What was that? It sounds like someone's whispering outside. How peculiar...
Toko stands silent for a moment, then whispers again "I promise, Dad... Mom... I'll make them pay."
Who's out there? Whoever it is, they better have a good reason for trespassing onto my grounds. If not, they'll be dealt with swiftly.
"Hmph... Just let me pass byakuya..." she growls as she attempts to sneak past Byakuya and into the palace.
Stop right there! Who do you think you are trying to sneak in here? Togami narrows his eyes as he locks his gaze onto the intruder.
Toko freezes, facing Byakuya
Speaking through clenched teeth, he says, "You seem quite determined. Very well, come inside. Let's talk."
"As long as I get to see mom!" Toko whines.
A small frown creeps across Togami's face as he responds, "Very well. But know that my patience is thin."
"Okay! Okay..." she runs into the palace.
"Be careful. The palace can be quite dangerous." he gives her one last warning before leading her deeper into the building.
"Okay!" Toko rushes ahead, searching for her mother.
It's hard to believe how much time has passed since the days when you used to run around here carefree, playing games and causing mischief.
