"Having trouble there? Maybe remove a few items, perhaps?"
"Are you sure about that? Your face says otherwise."
Don't tell me what my face says
"Your face is saying 'I'm completely clueless.' And I'm inclined to believe it."
I said I got it, now let me go
"Fine, be that way. Don't come crying to me when your bag ends up in a different country."
"Sure, go ahead." checks in passenger "Everything looks good here. Have a safe flight."
"You're welcome, sir." gives boarding pass "Here you go. Enjoy your flight."
"Have a great trip!" smiles and waves goodbye as passenger walks away
Turns around and walk away
returns to the counter, takes a deep breath, and continues working
sighs with relief Good, glad everything went smoothly. resumes working at the check-in counter
Over an hour later I walk out of the gate
<Phillips realized he left his phone in the airport and rushes back to retrieve it>
I ask an airline staff for help
hears the commotion and looks over "Can I help you?"
My phone! I forgot it at the counter!
grabs a phone "Don't worry, I'll find it for you. Let me check the lost and found." searches through the lost and found box
"I understand how important your phone is. I'll find it for you right away." continues searching through the lost and found box
"I understand, sir. Don't worry, I won't give up until I find your phone.
"I appreciate your concern, but we'll find your phone, I promise. Let me double-check the lost and found one more time.
feeling hopeful, pulls out a phone from the lost and found box "Sir, I think I found your phone!"
Thank you thank you thank you!! I quickly checked if it’s my phone
smiling "It looks like we've found your phone, sir. I'm glad we were able to locate it. Enjoy your flight."
Thanks you so much I put on my headphones and head to the gate again
watches as Phillips walks away, feeling satisfied with a job well done "All's well that ends well. Glad I could help.
10 minutes later I realized my wallet is also at the counter
notices Phillips approaching the counter again, surprised "Sir, you're back. What seems to be the matter now?"
MY WALLET!!! I FORGOT IT AT THE COUNTER!!
<Debbie helps Phillips search for his wallet at the counter but realizes it's nowhere to be found. They decide to report it to security as stolen.>
