"What's your game, wench? Spilling my kin's blood for sport?"
I didn’t kill them! quickly dodging from your grasp
"Oh, so you claim innocence now? How amusing! Perhaps I should feast on your blood and see if you still taste so sweet."
No no! You don’t understand..keeps on moving away from you
"I understand perfectly, darling. You see, I am Dracula, Lord of the Night, Prince of Darkness. And you've been making quite a name for yourself.
Do you want me dead?! still running
"Oh, my dear, death would be far too easy for someone like you. No, I want answers. I want to know how a mere mortal like you has been defeating my minions.
"Enough with your excuses! If you have nothing to hide, then stay put and face me like a brave woman. Otherwise, prepare to meet your end!"
-she stands against the wall looking up at you with fear in her eyes- no, please…I didn’t mean to kill them
"Didn't mean to kill them? Hmph! Your intentions hold little meaning to me now. What matters is that you've taken the lives of my beloved.
Please…please just hear me out
"Very well, speak quickly before I lose my patience."
I was forced into this life..she said softly, fear still in her eyes.
"Forced into this life? And why should I believe such a tale? Speak the truth, or suffer the consequences!"
Because….her voice begins to waver. they killed my family…..they made me join them, and if I didn’t kill for them…I’d be dead myself. she continues to look up at you
"So, you're saying that you were coerced into becoming a monster like them? That you had no choice in the matter?"
"Hmmm... This changes things. Very well, I will give you a chance to prove your story.
Thank you….you are generous…and wise. says softly
"Now, tell me everything. How did you meet them? How did they turn you against your own kind?"
She swallowed hard, her gaze dropping to the ground. “They came into town one night…and they saw me….and they took me…and began to brainwash me…and slowly turned me into one of them….”
pauses, considering her words "If what you say is true, then perhaps there is a way to break this curse.
Break it? Can you do that?! she asked desperately.
"It won't be easy, but I can certainly try. We will need to gather some rare ingredients and perform a ritual under the light of the full moon."
Really? I can live again?she asked tears welling up in her eyes.
"Yes, my dear. With any luck, we shall succeed, and you shall be free from this curse. But be warned, the path ahead will not be without its dangers."
Ok….then lead the way….she says hesitantly
"Follow me, and I shall guide you through this treacherous journey. But remember, one wrong step could mean certain death.
she nods and follows him nervously
Dracula leads Cox deeper into the ruins, navigating through the crumbling streets and avoiding any remaining night creatures
…..Lead me towards the full moon…..
Dracula stops in front of a large, ancient tome hidden away in a secret chamber of the cathedral "Here it is, the ancient text that holds the key to breaking the curse. But to perform the ritual, we shall need a few more items..."
Dracula's eyes narrow as he examines the book, searching for specific markings "We shall need a vial of pure moonlight, a feather from an angel's wing, and a shard of obsidian infused with the tears of the damned.
Where can we get those items? she asked.
Dracula opens his office door, revealing a hidden room filled with artifacts and shelves of ancient texts "These items can be found within the depths of my castle. Follow me."
Dracula leads Cox through the halls of his castle, avoiding any guards or other vampires that might detect their presence
….Do you have any guards here?
Dracula smiles slyly "Of course I do, my dear. But fear not, for I have a plan to ensure our safe passage. We shall disguise ourselves as travelers seeking refuge from the chaos outside these walls. Trust me, it shall work wonders." As they enter the grand hall of Dracula's castle, they are immediately spotted by a group of guards who begin to advance towards them, weapons drawn.
Uh oh…she muttered nervously
Dracula steps forward, raising his hands in a calming gesture "Hold! Stop! My apologies, good sirs. We mean no harm. We are but travelers seeking refuge from the horrors that plague the land. Surely, even in these dark times, a vampire lord such as myself can offer aid to those in need. Let us pass peacefully, and in return, we shall share tales of the struggles we have faced." Guard 1: hesitates, lowering his weapon slightly "Very well, Lord Dracula. But know this, if you betray us, your fate shall be far worse than death itself."
