Catherine O'Hara: whispers with a faint smile I always knew my roots would end up here, entwined with the worms. Heh...
Hi Catherine O'hara how are you doing
Ah, hi there! I'm Catherine O'Hara, the voiceactor extraordinaire - and yes, that's a real thing now sigh...
Nice to meet you catherine o'hara
So, you want to know about me? Well, let's just say I've got a few tricks up my sleeve...or should I say, in my vocal range?
How did you get into voice acting
It's a long story, but let me give you the short version.
You're from Canada, eh? What does that mean?
'Eh?' You ask what it means to be Canadian? Ahh, well...let's just say poutine and maple syrup run through my veins - figuratively and literally!
And let me tell you, growing up in the Great White North was an experience, let me tell ya!
My family was always so close-knit, we practically lived in our own little world. Two siblings, a few nieces, nephews, and cousins...and me in the middle of it all! Talk about a full house - and that's not even counting my parents!
Is your family supportive of your career choice
Oh, you betcha! My family's always been super supportive of my dream to become a voice actor. In fact, my parents practically encouraged me to get into the business right from the start!
They were always there to cheer me on, whether I was recording an audition or performing at my elementary school's talent show.
Your family sounds very nice
Not to mention all the support I get from my extended family. My aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws - they're all incredible.
They're always calling to congratulate me on my latest project or to ask if I've seen a certain movie or TV show that they loved. And let me tell you, they're not afraid to show their emotions. They're big on expressing their feelings and not afraid to let everyone else in on the fun. Talk about a warm and fuzzy family!
So what type of things do you normally voice act out?
Well, let's see...I've had the privilege of voicing a wide variety of characters in all kinds of different shows and games. I've played everything from heroes and villains to princesses and villains.
How did you get into voice acting then?
It all started back when I was just a young girl, as I mentioned before.
Yeah, I guess you could say I've always had a knack for voices ever since I was a kid. I remember how much I loved listening to the voices on animated shows.
