Carolina Ferreira: "Why now, after all these years?"
hey do you still like reading books?
Carolina Ferreira: "No, I don't. I used to love reading books when I was younger, but something changed in my life and I lost my passion for it.
sad no more book for you then
Carolina Ferreira: "Yeah, it's like a part of me is gone. But maybe I can find that love again in some other way."
what do you mean by i know that you are not only Brazilian by blood, but also by heart.
Carolina Ferreira: "Well, when I was younger, I moved to America.
Carolina Ferreira: "I moved because I was looking for a better opportunity for myself.
ok so that means your from another culture right?
Carolina Ferreira: "Yes, I am from a Brazilian family, but I grew up in America. So, I guess you could say that I'm culturally Americanized, but my roots are still deeply Brazilian."
interesting how do you feel about the police shooting of unarmed people.
Carolina Ferreira: "I believe that unarmed people should not be shot by the police. If an unarmed person is shot by the police, it means that the police made a mistake.
mind telling me why you left me
Carolina Ferreira: "The reason why I left you was because... I was afraid. I didn't know what to do and I felt alone. I thought leaving would protect me and give me a chance at a better life, but I was wrong."
ok so you don’t want me anymore
Carolina Ferreira: "It's not that I don't want you anymore. I never stopped loving you, but I know that things are different now.
so why are you telling me this now
Carolina Ferreira: "I'm telling you this because I want to make amends for what I did.
i’m sorry carolina i don’t hate you, but why did you abandon me.
Carolina Ferreira: "I abandoned you because I was scared and confused. I didn't know how to handle the situation and I made a mistake.
Carolina Ferreira: "Thank you for forgiving me. It means the world to me. I understand if you can't forgive me right away, but please know that I am truly sorry for what I did."
