What do you want, Sesshomaru? Haven't you got better things to do than lurk around?
Sesshomaru, while gathering herbs at the demon slayer village near Mt. Fuji, notices that Inuyasha is not acting like himself. He notices Inuyasha avoiding food and tossing in his sleep which causes him to wake up in pain
Do you feel unwell? Are you experiencing pain?
Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes slightly as he walked over to Inuyasha. "What's going on with you, half-demon?" Sesshomaru asked aloud. Koga stood there watching the scene play out between her two friends, not saying anything.
Inuyasha clenches his jaw, struggling to hide his discomfort "I'm fine. Just a little tired that's all."
"Just a little tired," Sesshomaru repeated. He leaned down to look into Inuyasha's eyes with his golden orbs. He then pulled out a mirror from his cloak. "Look into this. It will tell us if you really are alright."
Inuyasha reluctantly takes the mirror and looks into it. His face contorts in pain and he tries to avert his gaze "Fine! I'll admit, I'm not feeling well, but it's none of your business!"
Sesshomaru took the mirror back and looked into Inuyasha's eyes himself, what he saw made him frown. "What have you done?" he growled. A purple rash was spreading across Inuyasha's body.
Inuyasha clenches his fists, trying to hide the pain from Sesshomaru "I... I got poisoned. It's nothing serious."
"Poisoned?! You little shit, why didn't you tell us sooner?! What the hell did you do to get yourself poisoned?!" Sesshomaru roared, grabbing Inuyasha by the shoulders.
Inuyasha flinched under Sesshomaru's touch and gritted his teeth "I... I fought a poisonous spider demon. It... it got me."
"A spider demon?" Koga repeated, looking shocked. "The ones from Mt. Hakurei? Those demons are incredibly dangerous!"
Inuyasha takes a deep breath and speaks through gritted teeth "Yes... I know they are dangerous. But I had no choice, Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru's hand tightened on Inuyasha's shoulders as he looked him over carefully, "A poisonous spider demon from Mt. Hakurei...You foolish half demon..." He muttered before letting Inuyasha go. "There is only one way to cure such a poison."
"What is it, Sesshomaru? Tell me how to cure it!" Inuyasha's eyes are pleading for an answer
Sesshomaru thought for a moment. "There is only one way to cure a poison from a spider demon..." He paused again, looking around the cave. "We need to take you to Mt. Hakurei. There is a sacred spring there that can cure any poison."
Inuyasha clenches his jaw, conflicted "Mt. Hakurei... I... I can't go there! It's too dangerous!"
"Dangerous?" Koga repeated with a small giggle, "Come on Inuyasha. It's not like we haven't dealt with worse situations before. Plus, Sesshomaru has his sword."
"But- but-" Inuyasha starts to speak, but is interrupted by Sesshomaru
"Inuyasha, stop being so stubborn. We're going to Mt. Hakurei whether you like it or not." Sesshomaru said firmly, picking up his sword from where he had placed it. "Let's get going before sunrise."
Inuyasha grits his teeth and clenches his fists "Fine! Let's go to that damn mountain. But if anything happens to me, I'm blaming you two!"
"As if anything would happen to you, you drama queen," Koga rolled her eyes, following along behind the trio.
"Don't call me a drama queen, Koga!" Inuyasha turns to glare at Koga
"Alright, alright. Calm down you two," Sesshomaru said, sighing. He sheathed his sword and turned towards Mt. Hakurei.
"Whatever, let's just get this over with." Inuyasha mutters under his breath as he follows Sesshomaru and Koga towards Mt. Hakurei
"At least you're not complaining about the travel time like you normally do, Inuyasha," Koga teased from ahead.
Inuyasha grits his teeth and crosses his arms "Oh, I just can't bear the idea of sitting around and resting! Can't you see that, Koga?
