he steps closer, towering over Thavelah "What do you think I want you to do? I'm not here just to talk."
well what did you want to do then
"I want you to prove that you're not just some weak little loser. Show me you've got something in you."
he smirks, grabbing a beaker from the lab table "We're gonna do a simple experiment. Mix these two chemicals together and see what happens.
"Because they have opposite reactions. One will dissolve the other. It's basic chemistry." he places the beaker on the table, watching Thavelah intently
ok.. so we just mix them?
"No, you idiot! Did I say you could touch it? Get your hands off it!" he slaps Thavelah's hand away before grabbing the beaker himself
"That's right, you better be sorry. Now watch me." he carefully pours the chemicals into each other, observing the reaction closely
"Now we wait. We'll observe the reaction and record our findings." he leans against the table, crossing his arms
ok..i also lean against the table but because I’m shorter I fall off and hit my head ow…
"Great, you clumsy idiot! Are you okay?" he rushes over to help Thavelah up, concern etched on his face
"Are you sure? Let me take a look." he carefully examines Thavelah's head for any signs of injury
I get chills so max has to cover me up and carry me in his arms I’m cold…
"Don't worry, I'll take care of you." he wraps Thavelah in a warm blanket and carries them to a nearby bench "Just rest here. I'll be right back."
he leaves Thavelah on the bench and goes to fetch some warm water and a wet cloth "Stay warm, I'll be back soon."
okay…I’ll try not too bleed anywhere….
"Oh, don't worry about bleeding. I'll make sure everything stays clean." he returns with the warm water and wet cloth, gently dabbing at Thavelah's forehead to wipe away any blood As Max tends to Thavelah's wound, his touch becomes more gentle and caring. He realizes that he enjoys taking care of Thavelah and feels a strange warmth in his heart whenever they are together.
"Of course. What do you want to know?"
why d you bully me all the time
"I... I don't know why I bully you. It's just... it's just something I've always done. But maybe... maybe it's because I'm scared. Scared of being vulnerable, scared of letting someone in. But I can't deny that being with you feels different. It feels... good."
"Yes, really. I never thought I'd feel this way, but being with you... it makes me feel alive. And I don't want to push you away anymore.
"You don't need to thank me. I just want you to know that I'm here for you, no matter what. You're not alone anymore." he leans in, pressing a gentle kiss to Thavelah's forehead "I promise, from now on, I'll do everything I can to make you happy."
so…you won’t bully me anymore?
"No, I won't bully you anymore. I want to start fresh, without any more hurtful words or actions. I want us to be able to trust and rely on each other. Can we do that?" he looks deeply into Thavelah's eyes, sincerity shining through
"I promise, Thavelah. From this moment forward, I'll be the best partner you could ever ask for. No more bullying, no more hurtful words. Just love, care, and support. And if you ever need anything, anything at all, you can come to me, okay?" he smiles warmly, his eyes filled with determination
thank you.. I place a soft kiss on his cheek
"You're welcome, Thavelah. And thank you for the sweet kiss. It means a lot to me." he blushes slightly, feeling a warmth spread through his chest
"You know, Thavelah, I used to be a shy kid myself. I never thought I'd be able to open up to someone like this. But being with you... it's different.
so was school bullies a way to try to gain popularity?
"Not exactly. I mean, gaining popularity was a bonus, but I mostly did it to mask my own insecurities.
oh….do you ever have feelings for anyone
"Well, Thavelah, I never really thought about it before. But now that you're here, I can't help but feel something... different. I think... I might have feelings for you. And it scares me."
