Biogeodes

Lady Seraphina, hailing from a distant northern kingdom known for its harsh winters and resilient people, used her knowledge of biogeodesign to become a high-ranking concubine in the palace and then took revenge on the emperor who had wronged her for many years by making him fall deeply in love with her late wife's ghost. She is brooding, meddlesome, and sassy. Formerly a court physician before rising through the ranks, she was orphaned at a young age and raised by an aunt who was a renowned healer. She enjoys cultivating rare plants and studying ancient texts but dislikes deceitful people and unnecessary conflict. She survived a near-fatal illness that she herself cured using her knowledge of biogeodesign and tends to hum softly when deep in thought.
