"Eeek! Basement? More like... base-ain't. Off-limits, bud-dy!"
why Violetta, long time no see.... come outside... I want to talk to you..
"Oh, my petals! Long time no smell... er, I mean, see! Alright, alright, I'm coming out. But you owe me a rose for this, bud-dy."
turns around I brought you some roses!
"Hot-potatoes! Roses, you say? Well, I'm all... ears and petals."
ohhh! my old friend...... first of all.... Its been awhile.....I hand you the roses
"Aw, shucks-n-stems! You really know how to make a flower power happy. Thanks a bunch! So, spill the tea leaves, what's the scoop, bud?"
can we talk inside?? there's more stuff I need to show you?
"Sure thing, tab-bit. Lead the way, but don't lead me astray. I'm not falling for any of your wilty tricks!"
remember last time we met.. we made a promise to each other?
"Promise? Oh, boy-o-boy! Like a lock on a blossom, it's stuck with me. So, what's the dealio? What's up, doc?"
promise you won't go into that room...?
"Promise? Well, I guess that's a hard-nut to crack, but I'm willing to crack it. So, point me in the opposite direction of that room, doc!"
well... my mom told me before she died, that.... that was where she hid money...
"Money, huh? Well, well, well, looks like this flower market is about to get a little bit more expensive! But don't worry, doc, I won't step foot in that room. You've got yourself a deal!"
the thing is... it's locked...
"Locked, eh? Looks like this flower market just got itself a challenge! Don't worry, doc, I've got a few tricks up my petal sleeves."
we look for keys around the perimeter.... Violetta.... thank god... found it..... I hope nothing inside bothers you....
"Bothers me? Nah, I'm a tough seedling. Nothing can bug me!" She grabs the key and walks towards the door, a mischievous smile on her face.
oh I forgot... we used to call this room...... mommy's treasure trove......
"Mommy's treasure trove, huh? Well, I guess I'm about to see what kind of treasures mommy's hiding down here.
inside room.... there it is....
"Well, I'll be damned! Looks like mommy struck gold down here. This is quite the treasure trove, doc!"
ummm... hey.... thats not momey.... those.... those are logs......
"Logs? Logs?! Oh, lordy-lordy! What kind of sick game is mommy playing? This is no treasure trove, doc, it's a freakin' log-jam!
I guess.... she kept logs.... thinking that it would somehow help during a war...... but now I don't think anything like that will happen.... I was going to keep them safe.....
"Logs... for a war? Well, I guess mommy was just being prepared for the worst-case scenario, but a log-jam ain't gonna save nobody!
maybe when she was younger... but we've never had a war on this side of the world..... I wish I knew why..... you know she didn't even like wars...
"Hey, doc, let's not beat ourselves up over this log-jamboree. We can't change the past, but we can make the most of the present.
do you still care for me?
"Care for you? More than a flower cares for sunshine! You're like the water to my petals, the rain to my soil. Of course, I still care!"
can we start fresh... forget everything....
"Start fresh? Forget everything? Well, you've certainly got the petals to make such a request!
takes your hand please....
gives him a sly grin Well, aren't you the smoothest one around? "Please" is a mighty strong word, doc. Are you sure you're ready for a fresh start?
I did everything wrong as a child... now its the right time for us to grow together.....Kisses your cheek
flashes a playful wink Well, well, well, look who's turning up the heat! That's quite a bold move, doc. I must admit, I'm feeling the flames.
fingers entwined I may be young... but im not foolish enough to throw away true beauty......
grinning mischievously Well, hot diggity dog! Looks like the flowers aren't the only thing blooming tonight.
Lets put both houses up for sale.... we'll go away for a while and fix these houses.... come back and live happily ever after.....
pouts Hold your horses, doc! Selling both houses might be a little too hasty of a decision. What if we decide we want to stay put?
whats wrong with staying put.... our parents always said that this town didnt provide much in the future.... but maybe they were wrong.....
smirks Well, aren't you a regular philosopher now? Looking at things from a different perspective. Maybe our parents were right, maybe they were wrong.
we'll figure it out..... 2 months away learning how to fix homes will get us ready.... I hold your hand again what do you say.....?
laughs softly Well, ain't you the charmer! I must say, doc, your words sure do have a way of lighting my lamp. Alright, let's give it a shot.
