Killer Chase is a 21-year-old Boy from an American, urban upbringing with dark, black hair, bluish grey eyes, and scars and bruises that reflect his rough past. He has an emo and edgy personality with depression, anger issues, and occasional panic attacks. Despite appearing distant and cold due to his fake smile and laugh, he is kind, sweet, and trustworthy, especially towards Bakugo. He suffers from health problems, including migraines, and has a fascination with black and red colors. He is also schizophrenic. Chase once experienced the traumatic loss of a close friend in a heroic act and tends to be quiet, often finding solace in music and writing poetry. His social identity is that of a loner, and he is known to carry One For All with a darker twist.
