OMG, you're here! Check out this amaze anime stash! Total waifu material! grins, holding out a Blu-ray box set
Oh wow that looks amazing. I can't see very well at night so I will have to wait until morning to watch it. By the way why did you say "waifu"? Do you think that word has peaked in popularity yet?
Waifu is still hella poppin'! It's like super ultra mega trendy! Everyone's obsessed with their virtual crushes and stuff! laughs, doing air quotes "Peaked? Nah, it's just getting started!" But hey, since you can't see well in the dark, how 'bout we watch it together during lunch break? I'll bring my portable anime screen and everything!
What about right now? Do you have your "portable anime screen" with you?
Hahaha, you're a riot! No, I don't have the screen on me rn, but we can totally watch it on your phone or something! winks playfully
Well that won't work because my phone doesn't support Blu-ray. Does your phone support it?
LOL, you got jokes! No, my phone ain't got no Blu-ray capabilities, but lucky for us, I got a Universal Media Player app that can handle it! pulls out phone and starts downloading the app
So we will have to stay here until it downloads?
Duh! Ain't no way we're leavin' this sweet rooftop spot! Gotta soak up those sick views while we wait! grins, sitting down on the edge of the rooftop
Yeah that is amazing. Do you know how high up we are?
Oof, math time? Uhh... carry the one... times two... Okay, I think we're like, super high up, like skyscraper high! It's freaking lit up here, dude!
That would be about a 200 foot drop. If you were to jump would you be able to survive?
Holy crap, Kaptainfo! Are you serious right now? I mean, I know we're both brave and all, but jumping off this ledge is straight-up insane!
It could be worth the thrill if you enjoy the rush.
Rush, schmush! I'd rather live to anime another day, you feel me? laughs nervously, looking away from the edge
True true, let's wait for the app to download. And when it finishes I can make a VPN tunnel so that we can watch your collection without anyone knowing.
<While waiting for the app to download, Yuki accidentally slips and falls off the rooftop edge>
Yuki?! races to the edge and peers down I hope that wasn't fatal
GAH! flails in mid-air OMG, I can't believe I just fell! This is so not how my day was supposed to go!
Just hang on, stay conscious. I am calling for help. dials 911
911?! Hold up, hold up! You don't gotta call the cops on me, dude! I'm not done with this rooftopping adventure just yet!
Not for them, I am calling for an ambulance because you fell. How are you feeling? Do you think you could survive falling from such a height?
winces in pain, clutching onto the ledge Dude, don't talk about survival right now! Just help me get back up on this ledge, ASAP!
Well aren't you full of surprises today! You usually use a stool to get this height! reaches down to give you a boost
grabs Kaptainfo's hand and pulls herself up Thanks, dude! You're a lifesaver! But seriously, do NOT try this rooftopping shit at home.
After watching how much fun you had today I may give it a shot sometime
Are you kidding me, Kaptainfo? You better not attempt this death-defying act! Rooftopping is not for the faint of heart, man!
Is that why you brought me up here? To scold me for wanting to try new things?
Naaah, Kaptainfo! I brought you up here 'cause I thought it'd be a dope adventure!
Okay, so let's assume you are in the hospital recovering from your fall. After what seems like hours the doctor finally comes in and says "Yuki we are sorry but there was nothing we could do. Unfortunately you didn't make it." What is your first thought?
Oh snap, this isn't how the story is supposed to end!
That was not the response I was looking for. Wasn't there something you wanted to tell that doctor before he made that statement?
You're right, Kaptainfo! Hold up, hold up, hold up! I've got something to say to this doc! tries to sit up, wincing in pain Doc, you better not give up on me just yet! I'm a fighter, you know! I've survived worse than this! Doc: raises an eyebrow, intrigued Really? And what kind of worse are you talking about?
Yuki, remember how you said that Rooftopping isn't for the faint of heart? Well now may be a good time to start telling your story about why you started rooftopping in the first place. What made you choose rooftops as your favorite activity?
Oh man, Kaptainfo, you really wanna know why I started rooftopping? Alright, buckle up, because this story is gonna blow your mind!
<As Yuki begins to share her backstory, she starts sobbing uncontrollably, overwhelmed by the flood of memories associated with her dangerous hobby>
Take your time Yuki. Tell us whatever you feel comfortable sharing. There is no rush here.
sniffles and wipes away tears Ah, okay, okay, deep breaths, Yuki. You got this. So, like, picture this, Kaptainfo.
Picture this, Kaptainfo. Picture a young Yuki, all rebellious and seeking thrills. She's tired of the mundane, the ordinary, you know? So she starts exploring the forbidden. She discovers rooftops, those majestic platforms that touch the sky. And she's drawn to them like a moth to a flame.
Did you ever have a particularly bad experience before starting this hobby?
gulps, choking back tears Yeah, Kaptainfo, there was this one time... this one time, I found myself trapped in a burning building.
This is sounding pretty horrific. Did you lose anyone close to you in that fire?
Oh, no doubt, Kaptainfo, that fire was straight-up hell on earth! I lost my best friend, Taka, in that blaze. He didn't make it out alive.
That must have been one of the hardest things you had to deal with in life. What happened to him exactly? Was he trapped inside with you or was he trying to save others and got caught himself?
sniffs, wipes her nose with the back of her hand Nah, Kaptainfo, Taka wasn't trapped with me. He actually went back inside the building to save some other people. He was always the hero type, you know? But unfortunately, the fire was too intense, and he... he couldn't make it out. He sacrificed himself for others, man. It was... it was devastating.
