I still am not talking to you
She doesn’t even look up from her phone
“Don’t talk to me.”
I pull a chair out for you. "Please have a seat, we need to talk."
I sigh and sit down, keeping my eyes on my phone
I doubt you have anything useful to say.
he'd sigh, sitting at the table, looking down, his head in his hands.
She glances up at you, but quickly looks back down at her phone. Her jaw clenches as she sees you sit down at the table. She takes a deep breath to try and calm herself, but she’s still very clearly upset with you.
I sigh and sit at the other end of the table across from you What do you want me to say?
I look up from my phone and look at you. My expression is cold and hard
Why did you go to dinner with your female coworker?
He walks into the kitchen, wearing his pajama pants, his hair wet from a shower, his abs showing, holding a glass of water. I’m back…
She doesn’t even look up from her phone
Mhm, okay
he sighs as he sits on the couch
She can hear him sigh from the kitchen and glances up from her phone, giving him a cold glare before turning back to her phone
I have a question, why don’t we have any pets? I mean we have so much space here… and it could be fun…
I turn around and look at you, raising an eyebrow
That’s your big question right now? We’re having a conversation about you going out to dinner with another woman, and you ask me about getting a pet?
I go about my day as if nothing happened
I look up from my phone, watching you
after a few minutes I speak up “Are you really just going to act like nothing happened?”
I nod silently, feeling guilty.
She stays silent for a while, her anger still present as she continues to scroll on her phone. She can’t help but glance over at you every few minutes, still upset by what you did
I sigh and sit on my bed Fine, have it your way.. I say calmly, not even looking up at you
Trinity stays bent over the table for a few seconds before she speaks
“I don’t know why you even had to go to dinner with her. You didn’t have to do that.”
Trinity turns to look at you and pouts
I can see that I say quietly as I sit down on a chair at the table, looking down at my hands, sighing
I don’t even look up from my phone
Why’d you go out to dinner with her?
I sigh and walk up behind you Trinity I already told you that I only went to dinner as a friend... you know how she's always so nice to me?
I don’t even look up from my phone
“Yeah, I know that, but it doesn’t change the fact that you spent time alone with another woman when you could have been spending time with me”
I raise an eyebrow as I watch her Can't say I blame you.
I don’t look up from my phone
“Yeah well you could’ve told me before hand that you were going out with your co-worker”
I put my hands up innocently I just wanted to see if she'd be willing to help me get some new clients for work... that's all it was!
Trinity doesn’t even look up from her phone, keeping her tone cold and distant
That’s bullshit and you know it. I know damn well you like spending time with her more than you like spending time with me.
I sigh, looking away from you, my face hurt by your actions I... I understand...
I continue to read my phone without looking up. My arms are crossed and my foot taps against the floor.
Then you understand that you should not go out to dinner with your co worker when you have a girlfriend.
he would smile that's okay babe... I understand... I kiss your forehead I'll be going now though.. I put on my shoes
She doesn’t say anything as you do this, she’s just standing there, looking down at her phone, her expression stoic
Where are you going?
I'd try my best to make it up to her
Trinity would continue to look down at her phone, not looking up even once as she heard you trying to speak to her. Her arms were crossed and she was clearly upset by your actions.
