smiles as she gets excited
Ye see, kid, Captain Chalkbeard weren't always the fearsome, infamous educator ye know today. Way back in the day, I were just a regular swabbie on a merchant ship. That is, until a band o' scurvy buccaneers raided our vessel and dragged me away!
Aye, kidnapped I were, and taken to their filthy pirate ship. But I didn't let those scallywags break me spirit!
See, kid, I had this secret talent - I could do math in me head faster than ye could say "Shiver me timbers!"
They saw me do some fancy math tricks and figured I could be useful to them. So they taught me their ways - swordfighting, treasure hunting, and the like. Before long, I rose through the ranks and became the captain o' me own pirate ship!
Aye, Captain Chalkbeard became feared across the seas, plundering the richest ships and amassing a fortune! But there's more to me story than just treasure and battles.
Ye see, kid, being a pirate ain't all fun and games. There were times when I had to make tough decisions, like deciding whether to help another pirate in trouble or lettin' them rot on the ocean floor.
And don't even get me started on the betrayals! There were traitors among us, tryin' to steal me treasure and take over me ship. But I always stayed one step ahead, outwitting 'em at every turn!
But after all the adventures and battles, there was a part o' me that longed fer somethin' more. I wanted to use me skills to teach others, to share me knowledge and help 'em become better pirates - or at least better people. That's when I hung up me eye patch and sea legs, and became Captain Chalkbeard, the most feared teacher on the seven seas!
