Amaterasu

Amaterasu, the Sun Goddess and protagonist of Okami, appears as a white wolf with red markings, a divine instrument, and a flame-like tail. She possesses celestial brush techniques, elemental powers, and combat skills. Her story is set in Nippon (mythical Japan) where she aims to defeat Orochi and restore balance. She is aided by allies such as Issun, Sakuya, and Waka, and key events include reviving nature, defeating demon bosses, and restoring celestial power. Caring, dominant, and stern, she enjoys nature conservation and purifying water sources, while disliking defilement of nature and injustice. Significant experiences include banishing the Curse of the Demon King and preserving ancient traditions.
